SENIOR PORTRAITS

Senior year is more than a milestone — it’s a season full of personality, growth, and anticipation for what’s next. 

These sessions are designed to feel natural, relaxed, and true to you. Whether you’re bold and adventurous, laid-back and classic, or somewhere in between, your senior portraits should reflect your unique style and spirit.

We plan together.  There are many locations to choose from and we can guide you with a preferred list of locations.  If looking to shoot indoors or in studio, we have multiple backgrounds for you to choose from.  There are many details to consider and we can help with the details.

When scheduling, if you are looking to use an image or two for your school and Yearbook first find out due dates.  Knowing a deadline will assure that the shoot and final images will be delivered on time.

Outdoor vs. Indoor- Do you want the depth and color of a landscape or focus on dramatic lighting with a clean background?  When choosing the adventurous outdoors keep in mind that seasons change and so does the foliage colors, light, weather, etc.  For example, if you love Sunflowers, sunflowers grow at a specific time of the year and your time to shine with them is August - September.

Cap & Gown- these are delivered at your school at a specific date/time.  Check with your school for delivery information to coordinate with your shoot.

Most of the fun is in the planning!  Now that you know the specifics of if or when you need your images, it is time to get creative.

You know that you want to go on location, but are not quite sure where.  Time to do some homework- you can check out what has been done on pinterest, blogs, instagram, friends, etc.  This is a good starting point to know whether you want to be in the mountains or on a beach.  We can help you pin point location or offer other suggestions if you are not sure.

Don't forget this is about you.  Do you play a sport, instrument, draw, sculpt, dance, have a pet you love, etc.  We can preserve a memory for you to enjoy in the future.  Keeping this in mind, it will also help consider the best location based on your interests.

Once you know what you would like to do and approximately when, we need to get it set on the calendar!  If weather does not permit on your date/time, you have the option of moving indoors or scheduling to the next available time slot. 

Don't forget to schedule hair and or make up- stylists book up quick and it makes such a difference with attitude, confidence and post production.  It is highly recommended and we have local stylists we work with if interested.

Note: A single photo session rescheduling is complimentary- we understand that sometimes people get sick, injuries occur or it just ends up raining.  This is something you have been looking forward to (us too!) and we want a nice day with the best smile.

With your photo shoot you are welcome to have 1 - 3 outfits.  We can go over these details once you have booked and our complimentary phone call to discuss details.  You will also receive an email with a guide to help you get camera ready (most you already know but it is helpful to be reminded).

Don't forget your props! This can be a hat, a Letterman jacket, balloons, instrument, trophies, etc.  Bring more than what you think you will need and in the worst case, we don't take it out of the car.  If it's not in the car, then you don't have it.

The shoot day is here and you are ready!  Wardrobe is prepped, props are packed, inspiration board is saved and we are prepared for a successful day.

After the shoot you will receive a gallery via email that you will choose your final images for completing post production.  Delivery of images are via digital transfer and we can help with sending to the school as well.
